By downloading, installing, or using IBDPal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

IBDPal is a mobile application designed to help individuals with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) track their nutrition, symptoms, medications, and overall health. The App provides:

  • Daily logging of meals, symptoms, and medications
  • Nutrition and micronutrient analysis
  • Health trend visualization and insights
  • Community features for patient support
  • AI-powered health recommendations

3. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: IBDPal is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is designed to assist you in managing your IBD condition but should never replace professional medical advice.

  • Always consult with your healthcare provider for medical decisions
  • Seek immediate medical attention for emergency situations
  • Do not use the App as a substitute for professional medical care
  • Report any concerning symptoms to your healthcare provider

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of IBDPal, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Use the App only for its intended purpose
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account
  • Not share your account with others
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use IBDPal to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Transmit harmful or malicious content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
  • Use the App for commercial purposes without permission

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous service availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App. We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MediVue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MediVue from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the App or email. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
