Searches for lupus autoimmune and SLE symptoms often come from people trying to understand immune-driven illness in plain language. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease where the immune system can affect joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, and other organs. This overview is educational.
