"During a flare I used the low-residue articles on the blog and my symptom log to show my GI what the week looked like. We adjusted meds faster."

James manages ulcerative colitis while working full time. When urgency increased, he worried his description at the visit would not match what he lived through at home.

He read IBDPal's low-residue and flare articles for general education, then tracked stools per day, blood, and foods in the app for five days.

The export gave his gastroenterologist a clearer timeline. Medication changes still followed clinic protocols; James says the log reduced back-and-forth and stress.
